TEAM GO PRO 2012
WHO is GO looking for?
GO Pro is looking for the trendy super social individual who loves being the “life of the party” and always in the spotlight. We’re NOT looking for the type who stands in the corner and observes the party, rather we’re looking for the type who is standing in the middle of the crowd screaming “where’s the heck is the waitress at with my drink!?!?!”. We’re looking for the organizer in his/her group…the person everybody goes to when seeing what’s going on this weekend….an outgoing personality is a MUST!
WHAT is the job?
The job is simple. To promote the good word of GO Productions. NOT promoting as in standing on a street corner passing out fliers but promoting in the sense of going out and partying and spreading the word of GO PRO! There are 3 ways to get paid:
1) Submitting a guestlist – This is a requirement of all of our promoters. We continually need to attract people to our events and therefore all of our promoters submit guestlists for each of our events.
2) Pre reserving bottles – Bottle sales are also a major component of our parties. Promoters are paid based on how many bottles they pre reserve before the night begins.
3) Working as a staff member on the night of the event (i.e. guestlist checker, ticket taker, table runner, etc.)
HOW much will i get paid?
Pricing is competitive with all of the other promotion groups. Basically, the more people you get to come and the more bottles your pre reserve, the more money you make. There is no maximum to the amount of money you can make. It’s all up to you.
Typically our promoters make between $50-$75 per event and our top promoters usually make around $700-$800 per month in commission.
HOW much time does it take out of my week? WHAT kind of hours would i have to set aside?
Contrary to popular belief, promoting does not take much time at all. The bulk of our promoting is done through emailing and myspace/friendster bulletins. You are basically leveraging your existing network of friends to promote the event. We do require our promoters to attend the majority of the weekend events but in terms of weekday hours, there is very little time involved.
I’m not 21 yet...is that going to be a problem? Since our parties are 21 and over, our promoters are required to be at least 21 years old.
Any EXTRA benefits?
Promoting is an EXCELLENT way to network. You definitely meet many different people from all walks of life and different professions. VIP entry into all GO Pro events and PLUS in essence, you are getting paid to party. How awesome is that?
WHO should i talk to if interested?
You may contact me at Justin@GOProductionsLA.com I can give you more info about the position and if interested, I can introduce you to some of our other promoters who you can ask about their experiences promoting with GO Pro.
